C. Allan Bamforth, Jr., P.E., L.S **
Through the decades Mr. Bamforth has supervised all engineering and surveying operations of the firm, particularly those outside the continental limits of the United States in areas such as Italy, Spain, Azores, Iceland, Newfoundland, the British West Indies, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Bermuda, Panama and Bahrain.
Before starting his own firm in 1977, Mr. Bamforth supervised all engineering operations in the Norfolk Office of Baldwin & Gregg, Ltd. as Director of Engineering. Before joining Baldwin & Gregg, Mr. Bamforth was Water & Sewer Engineer for the City of Norfolk, responsible for the engineering and management of the Utility System. Mr. Bamforth has also been employed as a structural engineer with McGaughy, Marshall and McMillan. His design experience included interstate bridge design and low profile structures. As Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Bamforth was involved in the design and construction of civil engineering projects. Return to Top
Anna Lee Bamforth, P.E., L.S. **
Ms. Bamforth's engineering experience for the last fifteen years includes water and wastewater pumping stations, small water and wastewater treatment plants, and water storage tanks (elevated and ground). She has completed computer analysis of water, wastewater, and storm drainage systems; site engineering, including connections to existing water, sanitary and storm sewers; pavement design; and grading.
Ms. Bamforth's role as a project manager has included preparing the required construction documents including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates and reviewing shop drawings during construction. She has surveyed in various locations locally and overseas. Overseas locations include Newfoundland, Iceland, Spain, Azores, Italy, Panama, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and various Caribbean islands.
As a project manager, Ms. Bamforth will coordinate with the various design professionals as well as the firm's design team, maintaining open communication with the client and the other professionals. Ms. Bamforth is also responsible for providing continuity and quality personnel on the design team to ensure the most efficient and effective design and to ensure that all work is done in compliance with required standards. Richard E. Garriott, P.E.
With 37 years of experience as a professional engineer, Richard Garriott has completed the civil engineering design for numerous facilities. He understands the delicate balance required to accommodate urban growth with limited resources; he also continually strives to produce quality designs that meet time and budget goals.
Mr. Garriott's experience includes: waterfront and industrial structures; water supply wells and hydropneumatic supply systems; massive septic drainfield analysis and design; wetland mitigation; marina design; and storm transmission and detention facilities, including Best Management Practices for stormwater management and Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act requirements.
He also has experience complying with the requirements for Erosion and Sediment Control and NPDES permits.

Andrea Murden, P.E.
With a degree in civil engineering and a specialization in environmental, Ms. Murden provides engineering support in a variety of projects dealing in particular with stormwater management, designing storm sewers, detention ponds, and utilizing stormwater treatment structures where required. Ms. Murden has prepared and obtained approval on many construction related permit applications.
Ms. Murden has also been involved in various stages of a project, including cost estimates, site design, and construction administration as well as completing operation and maintenance manuals for a small water treatment plant, water storage tank and pump stations.
Ms. Murden has been involved with projects located in Cuba, Spain, and Italy and domestically in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. She has experience with federal and local government projects as well as private projects.

Richard W. Clark, L.S. **
Mr. Clark has 20 years experience performing and supervising all types of surveying in both the private and public sectors. His experience includes subdivisions, topographic surveys, boundary, construction stake-out, control networks for aerial mapping, drainage studies and large scale utility mapping. He is proficient in AutoCAD and aids in the drafting of the surveys and has been involved in projects in various states and in Iceland, Newfoundland, Bermuda, and Cuba.
In addition to his surveying experience, Mr. Clark has been involved in engineering design, including studying and analyzing storm drainage systems, water distribution systems and wastewater pump stations; performing drainage calculations; designing stormwater detention systems; and compliance with the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act (CBPA) for small and large projects. Mr. Clark has also assisted with cost estimates, specifications, and site plan preparation for both commercial and residential projects.

Jim Freeman
Mr. Freeman has approximately 35 years of experience in the water, wastewater and natural gas industries, including thirty years with a Tidewater Virginia area municipally owned water and wastewater utility with infrastructure located in several jurisdictions. This lengthy tenure in the municipal arena provides Mr. Freeman with experience in the preparation of studies, problem solving, design, construction inspection, contract administration and documentation.

Greg Herron
Mr. Herron with a degree in civil engineering technology and construction, Mr. Herron provides engineering support in pump station design, stormwater design, cost estimating, construction administration, municipal and state project submittals. Mr. Herron has contributed to municipal projects involving water and wastewater distribution, building additions and recreational facilities.

David Campbell, MCSE
Mr. Campbell is involved the daily operations of the CADD Department and in the development of programs to increase its proficiency. He has managed many CADD projects including the utility mapping of Naval Air Stations in Keflavik, Iceland and Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia; as well as Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia. He also worked on the 28 Wastewater Pumping Stations project in Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. Mr. Campbell has completed numerous projects with municipal, state, and federal agencies, as well as private clients. As systems administrator, Mr. Campbell designed and networked a system of scanners and computers to manage the office documents and drawings.
